Weekend workout

A weekend of shopping, packing and trying to stuff oversized gifts into TSA Regulation suitcases....not always an act within the realm of possibility.

On Friday night, Ulla, my neighbor, joined me for a workout at the pool. It's always fun to have company. I also squeezed in an ab workout yesterday and 40 minutes at the pool today. All in all, a pretty satisfactory weekend, exercise-wise.

My stomach craved something light for dinner tonight...Chobani Plain non-fat yoghurt with honey, almonds, chopped up dates and apricots...and baby carrots. Healthy, huh?
There have been a few twinges in my leg, so I am not even thinking about getting back to running. But I plan to join a group water aerobics class Aquafit at the gym tomorrow and a yoga class on Wednesday. I am really digging the gym!

I have even wanted to get in some water aerobics. I did that one winter with my mom when I was in high school and loved it!

great job in the pool! that really is such a good workout. I am loving having a gym too. especially since running cant fully happen right now.

The swimming sounds fun - I wish we had a pool around here. Good cross training!
