It looked like Senior Citizens' Day at the pool. I was prepared to join an older group of people...just didn't realize the average age of people taking the class was in the neighborhood of 65 (including me!) You could not catch a slacker though...every single one of us intended to put in an hour of vigorous exercising.
I had expected the class to stretch my muscles nicely and prepare me for an hour of swimming. But it gave my arms and shoulders a tough workout and I could only follow it with 40 minutes of slow swimming. By the time I was done, I could barely lift my arms. I gratefully lowered myself into the heated spa and soaked for 15 minutes.
Now, that's a workout!

Glad to hear you were able to keep up with the older ladies!
Sounds like a good workout! It's nice to work the upper body instead of just the legs all the time.
Yeah, you'll be surprised how fit those old ladies are. hahaha....
That reminds me I should use the pool at my gym too...That was one of the reasons why I joined the gym afterall! Pearl
