Top heavy

The weekend's over...and I'm back to the grind, working 12 hours a day.

But I am determined to make time for strength training and cross training every day, at least half hour a day. The pain's gone, but the lump on my foot is showing no signs of subsiding. I did half hour on the exercise bike today, very low intensity, and another half hour of abs and dumb bells. I've never had a particularly well-built torso, but if I keep up this intensity of core work while allowing my legs to rest/degenerate, pretty soon my lower half may not be able to support the upper half!

Core work. I really need to buckle down on it! Hope the foot continues to get better.

Good luck with the foot. As someone who just went through an ankle injury, I know a little how you feel. But, the rest will help and you'll be better off for it. Plus, you'll have abs of steel!

Sorry to hear about your foot. But rest is best. Be patient and keep on pumping that iron and working that core. You will have rockin guns and abs, and you will be back running before you know it.

Thanks, you guys. I just need to focus on the fact that one day, it WILL get better...there just doesn't seem to be any improvement!
