My blog has been looking like a recipe website lately. I've had nothing to report on the running front.
This morning, I decided to remedy that. I laced up my running shoes over the little knot on my tendon (yes, the swelling's still there, but the pain has completely disappeared, so I decided to try my luck) and jogged a few tentative steps. No pain. Growing bolder, I jogged on, and very slowly but surely completed 2 miles. I actually enjoyed running slow...I tried to focus on my running style and pinpoint the pressure points at every step. I was so thankful to be running again. I also had time to think about the show we had just watched on Equator HD - The Peacekeepers describing the UN's peacekeeping efforts in Congo. Seeing so much suffering in the world does help put things in perspective. With Thanksgiving around the corner, I really have sooo much to be thankful about in my life!

That's great that you were able to get out there for the run. I hope you're still feeling OK after the run.
